What We Believe

We believe in God the Father as creator and maker of heaven and earth that Jesus the Christ is His one and only Son, that he was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. That He was crucified, died, was buried and rose from the grave the third day. He now sits at the right hand of God Almighty and He will one day judge all the living and the dead.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, the forgiveness of sin, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting.

We accept the truth that all have fallen short, of the glory of God. We acknowledge that we are all sinners in need of God’s grace and mercy.

We believe that through grace we are made whole.

We believe that all may find refuge in the Lord, Jesus, if they will call on Him with an open mind, a willing heart and a sincere desire to know Him better.

We believe that the Great Commission applies to us; that, as Christians, we must spread the good news of Jesus Christ to all who will hear.

We believe that we are called to love as Jesus loved.

We believe that Christians are called to fellowship so that we might lift each other up in friendship, and worship God together.

We believe that we are called to serve God by serving others.

We believe we are called to serve in whatever way God might use us, without regard to station in life or community.

Our purpose is to glorify God and exalt Jesus Christ and, in the power of the Holy Spirit, to carry out the Great Commission and live the Great Commandment.

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” Matthew 28:19-20

“…Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and love your neighbor as yourself.” Matthew 22:37, 39
