The Good News

The Plan
God loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life. It is His plan for you to experience life and peace. And that life is to be abundant and eternal.

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

John 10:10 “I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”

The Problem
The problem is separation. While God loves us, he allows us the freedom to choose. Unfortunately, we all choose to sin. To sin is to disobey God. This results in separation from God. Unless something is done to eliminate that separation, it will last throughout eternity.

Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”

Isaiah 59:2 “But your iniquities have separated you from God; your sins have hidden his face from you.”

Romans 6:23 “For the wages (the pay check) of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

The Provision
The provision is Jesus. Jesus provided a way to eliminate the sin that separates us from God. Through his death on the cross, the price for our sins was paid.

I Peter 3:18 “For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God.”

Romans 5:8 “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

The Prayer
You must go to the Lord in prayer and invite Jesus to come into your life, forgive your sins, and be your personal Lord and Savior.

Romans 10:9 “If you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”

Romans 10:13 “For, everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

Revelation 3:20 “Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.”

If you pray the following prayer in faith from your heart, God promises to forgive you of your sins and give you peace and eternal life.

Dear Jesus,
I know that I have disobeyed your will for my life and I need you to forgive me. Thank you for dying for me. Please forgive me of my sins. I now turn from my sin and invite you into my life. I want to trust and follow you as Master and Savior. Please save me. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
